Company History

Access Platforms Aberdeen was founded by its present Directors Mark Stephen and Rob Petrie in June 2005 at Greenbank Road Aberdeen.

With an overall combined thirty seven years experience in both finance and powered access industries both Mark and Rob identified a need in the market and formed APA.

Rob has extensive experience of the powered access industry and is a fully qualified demonstrator and operator. In the last five years Access Platforms has seen significant growth - expanding into their operation to new depots in both Elgin and now Invergordon.

Our core business consists of the hire of powered access equipment. We also provide IPAF training for machine operators should our customers require this service. We now have a fully qualified member of staff that will be able to meet your operational requirements assuring an efficient professional service at all times.

Our finance director Mark Stephen is a qualified accountant with over eighteen years experience of all types of plant hire. His background has primarily been in corporate finance related activities.

With our wide range of powered access equipment we are readily available to service your operational requirements. Now operating a combination of over 180 diesel and electric machines Access Platforms has become one of the North East's largest powered access hire companies. With our new depot opening in Invergordon this year Access Platforms will continue to deliver quality customer service and value for money.

Access Platforms Aberdeen is a registered member of the Construction Plant Hire Association as well as IPAF and prides itself in providing a safe effective and efficient service with modern powered access equipment.
